Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney, born Amal Alamuddin in Lebanon is a Lebanese as well as British barrister, who has been an activist for human rights over the years. Following her graduation from the Oxford University School of Law she pursued an extensive and successful profession in the field of human rights as well as international law. Her high-profile clients have included several nation-states including the country of Armenia fighting to be recognized as Armenia's participation in the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney became engaged to and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in pop culture.
