Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1977) is an American actor best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons of AMC's historical drama Mad Men. Her work in the series has earned her critical praise as well as an impressive six Emmy award nominations in the best supporting actress category. Her professional career, which spans over two decades has seen her appear in the crime comedy series Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. Some of her films consist of Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers - Prey at Night Egg and American Woman. She has also lent her voice in animation films such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 and Scoob!. She began as a fashion model, and worked in the field for a number of years prior to making her TV debut in Undressed. Her first note-worthy performance as a character the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers. Following this, she won praises for her role in Firefly. Esquire Magazine voted her the most beautiful woman in America and also the attractive woman in the world in 2010.
